Color guide

Each colorway is dyed in small batches, so subtle tone shifts between units are normal — not defects. Pick the shade that suits your environment:

  • Forest olive — best for woodland, alpine treeline.
  • Obsidian black — neutral all-rounder, hides dirt.
  • Sand tan — desert, dry-grass camo.
  • Storm navy — coastal, rainy weather.
  • Ember red — high-visibility for safety.

Tip: If you camp in mixed terrain, pick the darker option — it conceals stains and weathers better.

How to choose a temperature rating

Sleeping bag ratings can be confusing. Here is how to pick:

  1. Comfort temperature — the lowest temperature at which an average cold sleeper will sleep comfortably for 8 hours. Use this number.
  2. Limit temperature — the lowest at which an average warm sleeper will sleep for 8 hours in a curled position. Survival only — do not plan around this.
  3. Buffer 5°C below expected low. If the forecast is −5°C, pick a bag with −10°C comfort.

Trip-rating quick reference

  • +5°C to +10°C → 3-season, low altitude
  • 0°C to −5°C → weekend trekking, monsoon shoulder
  • −10°C to −15°C → Himalaya base camp, Ladakh
  • −20°C and below → expedition, high altitude
